Description
Many tourists visit Manaca Iznaga plantation near Trinidad Cuba to climb the tower that has a view of the Valle de lost Ingenios (Valley of the Sugar Mills) and visit the restored the restored hacienda house that are part of the UNESCO World Heritage site. But on the fringes of the tourist activity are the trappings of daily life of the Cuban people including market stalls. Eating a pig’s head is not exactly new; historical references abound. But for those not in the know (including myself), eating pig’s head is quite a ‘thing’ these days in some trendy restaurants.
