Native Americans created medicine wheels and sand mandalas, even their abodes (a tepee) were built around a central point with a circle of life’s needs contained within. These creations capture a moment in time of the rebalancing of the psyche. Seen as a safe refuge to stabilize, integrate and re-order our inner life creating a oneness with the ultimate unity of the infinite circle called life.
Connecting to the earth once again empowers the inner truth, sit quietly and hear the earth speak. The accidental sequence of events that led me to a mound of stone along a river in the great Rocky Mountains gifted me the true purpose of this cycle of life. This mountain had a history, a documented history of more than 3, 000 years of life that traveled hundreds of miles to seek this mound of rock at 8, 000 feet above see level. They searched for answers from the earth in a place of energy, silence and connection.
