This is beautiful artwork was a Christmas gift to my nine-year-old Granddaughter, Hailey. She is a magical child, who confided in her Grandpa that she would like a portrait of herself with Unicorns and a beautiful rainbow. This work is my interpretation which will be with her forever and will be enjoyed by others.

It is a “Fractal Impressionism” work of art, combining the beauty of mathematic fractal art with traditional media of impressionism on canvas. This work allowed me to experiment further with creating iridescent, magical colors which change with the position of the viewer and the light on the painting itself.

It is suitable for a child's room, meditation or just to create a sense of peace and harmony wherever it is hung. As a psychologist and heart-centered hypnotherapist, Dr. Durst has created visual experiences to connect to the heart.

Available for purchase is a signed and hand-embossed Masterpiece Edition, which has been meticulously matched to the original. By adding texture with many layers of acrylic paint and varnish, it is hand-embellished so that it replicates the actual painting itself. Thus, Masterpiece Editions become a one-of-kind works of art, by capturing the light and providing the depth of colours to create a three-dimensional effect. These Masterpiece Editions come with a Certificate of Authenticity and are numbered and signed by the artist.

Prints are also available through Fine Art America, Fine Art Europe, Fine Art England and Fine Art Germany.
