The Creator designed deciduous trees to nourish the soil and allow trees to conserve inner resources during winter. Then the aesthetic aspect of fall colors, winter branch silhouettes, new buds-flowers- green of spring and lush mature leaves for shade in the heat of summer. Thank you so much Jerry for your sharp insights as always. The colour scheme here was in keeping with the overall mood and I personally have an affinity for blues and cool colours...so the background (including the branches, leaves etc are in those hues).
